Well that was for the people wanting to get assured about the feasibility of a downgrade. Now let's concentrate on the main topic, how to downgrade from iOS 7 to iOS 6.
If you have done the upgrade to iOS 7 process yourself, you already know the process of downgrade as well! Don't believe me? Here is the list of tasks that you need to perform in order to get your device back to iOS 6.
Download The Proper iOS 6 File In order to install iOS 6, you must pick the proper version or iTunes will spit an error back at you. Important thing to remember here is for the iPhone 5, you must download iOS 6.1.4. For everything else, it is iOS 6.1.3. What happens when you select a wrong file to restore? Well, iTunes will not allow you to restore it, will throw some error causing some anxious moment and unnecessary worry. So be careful about the IPSW file you select to restore.
Where can I find the IPSW file for iOS 6?
Now you have asked the correct question. I found this useful site called iOSDay* where they allow you to download the latest firmware version for your device for Free!! All you have to do is to ensure that you choose the correct file from the list and download the same.

Please ensure the following two things.
1. You have the latest version of iTunes installed on your machine.
2. Cancel iTunes Automatic Sync Process (Just in case it gets started, no harm if you let it complete but it is meaningless to sync anyway!)
On a Mac you need to hold down alt/option key when you click Restore, and on Windows, hold down Shift when you click Restore on iTunes. See screenshot below.
Once a file browser window opens, point it to the IPSW file you extracted as mentioned in the previous section.
If you have downloaded the correct iOS 6 firmware, the restore process should go smooth and after 5-10 minutes and you should have iOS 6 up and running on your device.
Congratulations, you now have your device back to the earlier state and running on iOS 6.
Restore without getting into DFU!! As we saw, there is absolutely no need to put your device into DFU (Download Firmware Update) mode. However, if you want to put your device into DFU mode before performing the restore, you can still do it. Instruction as given below.
To put your iPhone in DFU mode:
1. Hold down the home and power button for 10 seconds.
2. Release the power button while continuing to hold the home button for eight seconds.
Using DFU will not harm the firmware downgrade process. If will not gain anything either. It is just an unnecessary step with no impact in the process what so ever!
I hope you have successfully downgraded your device by now. Let us know your comment of feedback. Thanks for reading this tutorial.

Random Joke - Time to Laugh !!
Some people would say there is no difference between complete and finished.
Truth is, there actually is some difference:
When you pick up the right girl , you are "complete"
When you pick up the wrong one , you are "finished"
When the right one catches you with the wrong one , you are "completely finished
