How to install Spotify on Ubuntu?
Spotify for Linux can be installed on Ubuntu directly from the Spotify repository. This method not only just installs the latest Spotify client available till date but also allows you to automatically upgrade to new releases of Spotify using Ubuntu Software Updater/Update Manager tool.

Here are the commands that you need to run in the terminal one after the other in the given order to get Spotify client installed on your machine.

sudo add-apt-repository “deb http://repository.spotify.com stable non-free”
sudo apt-key adv –keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com –recv-keys 94558F59
sudo apt-get update

At this point of time you can either use Ubuntu Software Center to install Spotify or can use the last command in the terminal to get the installation done.
Both steps does the exact same thing, i.e. installing Spotify on Ubuntu!
